Refund / Cancellation Policy

We ask that you be absolutely committed to participating in our courses, cohort-based experiences, workshops, or retreats (“Program”) when you register. Once you register and make your payment, we turn away other applicants to hold your spot. Many times, these people then make other plans and are no longer available to participate in the Program.  

This refund policy is part of the terms and conditions under which you are accepted into the Program. However, if you cancel at least 30 days before the Program starts, we will make every effort to transfer your registration to the following Program of equal value with no penalty.

  1. Requests for refunds must be made in writing and can be submitted to liya@deepselfdesign.com. Requests must include the name provided at the time of enrollment, a detailed account giving the reason the participant wishes to withdraw, and why the participant feels a refund should be issued based on the policy below.

  2. If you cancel more than 90 days prior to the first date of the Program, your money will be returned less a 10% non-refundable processing fee of the total Program fee due subject to Paragraphs 7 and 9.

  3. If you cancel less than 90 days but more than 60 days prior to the first date of the Program, your money will be returned less a 20% cancellation fee of the total Program fee due subject to Paragraphs 7 and 9.

  4. If you cancel less than 60 days before the first date of the Program but more than 30 days before the first date of the Program, your money will be returned less a 33% cancellation fee of the total Program fee due, subject to Paragraphs 7 and 9.

  5. If you cancel less than 30 days before the first date of the Program but more than 20 days prior to the first date of the Program, your money will be returned less a 50% cancellation fee of your total Program fee due subject to Paragraphs 7 and 9.

  6. If you cancel less than 20 days before the Program, no refunds are available.

  7. PAYMENT PLANS: If the Program fee is being paid via a PAYMENT PLAN, then enrollment in all Programs covered by the payment plan is subject to the same terms as if the Program fee is paid for in full and in advance. For these purposes, the Program fee is considered to have been received by Deep Self Design, LLC dba The Center for Deep Self Design (the “Company”) upon the receipt of your first payment, and all subsequent payments are due in full even if you do not complete the course.

  8. TECHNICAL ISSUES: Refunds are not available for participants who have experienced technical issues. Although we work hard to do everything possible to avoid issues, many aspects of technology, such as the internet connection or equipment condition that the participant is using to access the Program, fall outside of our control.

  9. Important Note: Once any online materials, access to Intellectual Property belonging to the Company, or links to such materials have been delivered to the participant physically or electronically, there shall be no refund applicable under any circumstances.

  10. LANGUAGE – Unless otherwise noted, Programs at the Company will be presented in English. This includes all materials used in Programs, such as presentations, participant sharing, required readings, homework, and guided meditations. Since participants will be attending from all around the world, you may be exposed to various English accents and dialects. Please do not register for this training program unless you can speak and understand English fluently. No refunds of any kind will be considered based on language issues or barriers.

  11. CHANGES IN LIFE CIRCUMSTANCES OR FINANCIAL CONDITION – Please make sure that you are financially capable of handling the Program fee for any Program you register for and that you have a commitment to making the time to participate in and complete the Program. The time commitment is generally disclosed at the Program description. It is the participant’s responsibility to confirm that they are able to meet the required financial and time commitments the Programs require of them. No refunds of any kind will be considered based on changes in life circumstances and/or financial condition.

Cancellation/Postponement of Programs:

If the Company cannot hold a Program due to the illness of presenters, severe weather, technical issues, or other emergency conditions such as death in the family or emergency situations, it will attempt to reschedule the Program. While every effort is made to avoid changes to our Programs the Company reserves the right to reschedule any Program.
